XVI. “The Seal Of
GOD”
Our every need will be supplied as long
as the “the Word of God” is applied. Believing the pledge of Jesus to fulfill His promises
will preserve the soul from man’s hatred of all that is “holy, and just, and good” (Rom.7:12) and fulfill
every childhood dream for justice, mercy and love. Nevertheless, GOD’S Word is clear: “the
carnal mind” despises justice, mercy and love: “Now go, write it before them in a table, and note it in a book,
that it may be for the time to come for ever and ever: That this is a rebellious people, lying children, children
that will not hear the law of the LORD: Which say to the seers, See not; and to the prophets, Prophesy not unto us
right things, speak unto us smooth things, prophesy deceits.” Isa.30:8-10.
Most people are blind to the reality that this choice to live a life of sin with its temporary pleasures is equivalent
to the act of committing suicide. But it was never GOD’S intention that anything die (Gen.1:31).
We were not created to die! There was only One born into this world Who was born to die: “the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.” Rev.13:8. Our Heavenly Father exerts to save His children, putting His every power on the stretch;
and yet, death has become the choice of most by simply choosing to live and die in sin (Isa.22:12-14). GOD,
Who will never force the will, must allow for this decision.
Scripture foretold that the vast majority of the human race have chosen to die rather than believe “God is love”
(Gen.3:1-5; I Pet.4:18). For men to ignore His “still small
voice” of “love” shows the bewitching power of sin. To abandon the desire to
live a virtuous life shows the depravity of a nature that overpowers the will to live a godly life (I Pet.2:11). Nevertheless,
All that you have ever wanted to be, Jesus Christ has ever been! “The kingdom
of heaven” is calling for us, to receive GOD’S riches in knowledge and wisdom
that all the wealth of Earth, the restless craving for things having no lasting value—none of the rewards of this world
can compare to the future treasures and achievements that are promised to those faithful to Christ: “As it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard; neither hath entered into the mind of man the things that
GOD hath prepared for them that love Him.” II Cor.2:9.
The perfect example showing how futile
it is to pursue this world’s riches is found in the life of Solomon. He was granted everything a
man could desire from this world in both virtue and folly. And as a wise old man he came to the simple
conclusion that many will learn too late: “I have seen all the works that are done under the sun; and behold, all is
vanity and vexation of spirit” [seeking to satisfy the moment (Isa.56:11), and being impatient for the things that never
satisfy (Matt.6:25-34; Phil.4:6)]. Eccl.1:14.
This lesson must be understood in light
of GOD’S intentions for His children’s happiness. Before there were stars, angels or men, GOD
sat alone on His throne. The Father and The Son devoted this infinite span of time to the solemn
contemplation of how to bless the life of Their Creation through all eternity. This infinite time of Eternity
Past was devoted by our Creator to only one purpose according to Jesus Christ—“that
your joy might be full.” Jn.15:11.
To be held in shackles in some dark, cold dungeon with the knowledge of Christ and His
companionship is infinitely better than sitting on the throne of the world without it! This is why faithful
Christians have always determined to uplift Jesus Christ by living their lives in the counsel of GOD’S Word, for it
was Scripture that both tutored and fortified the faith and joy of Jesus (Lu.2:41-52). Therefore, the Bible
believing Christian takes great pleasure in exploring the treasures found in one Bible verse: “Seek ye out of the book of the LORD and read: no one of these shall fail.” Isa.34:16.
1. What is “the seal of GOD?”
Exodus
31:13-17 …Verily my ____________ ye shall keep: for it is ___ _______ between me and you throughout
your generations; that ye may know that I am the LORD _______ _______ ____________ _____. Ye shall keep
the sabbath therefore; for it is holy unto you: every one that defileth it shall surely be put to death: for whosoever doeth any work therein, that soul
shall be cut off from among his people. Six days may work be done; but in the seventh is the sabbath of rest, holy to the LORD: whosoever
doeth any work
in the sabbath day, he shall surely be put to death. Wherefore the children of Israel shall keep the sabbath, to observe the
sabbath throughout their generations, for a perpetual covenant. [v.17] It is ___ _______ between me and the children of Israel _____ ________: for in six days the LORD made heaven
and earth, and on the seventh day he rested, and was refreshed.
The basis of our trust lies in our confidence in the
assurances that are given. When GOD finished Creation “He rested on the seventh day,” rejoicing
in the successful completion of His work. He rested in the knowledge that His established laws governing heaven and
Earth guaranteed the perpetual safety and happiness of all life—for all eternity. The Sabbath hours are a time of solemn joy for GOD because He rests in the knowledge
of His perfect provision for all life: a tranquil happiness that is to stand for all eternity. Adam and Eve once shared
in the joy of GOD’S rest: His Holy Promise that gave assurance for their family’s eternal security and joy (Genesis
2:1-3).
But life’s tranquility was removed the moment Satan waged war against GOD. In fact, Satan’s
entire campaign centers on attacking the center of GOD’S Law: the Sabbath rest of the 4th Commandment.
Satan works to discredit GOD’S promise of perpetual tranquility for all living things. And
when Satan seduced Adam and Eve to share in his sins against the Commandments of GOD the peace and security of every creature
on Earth came to an end. By Adam choosing to sin he handed the dominion of Earth over to Satan.
As a consequence, every affliction of life from thorns to cancer is the direct result of Satan’s jurisdiction
in this world. This is why Jesus called him, “the prince of this world” (Jn.14:30). Satan
himself boastfully claims this world as his possession (Job 1:6,7). But four thousand years into man’s
bitter history “when the fullness of the time was come” (Gal.4:4) “the LORD our Maker” left the courts
of heaven and came to live among men in the person of Jesus Christ. The Creator of Life had to
become “the Christ” to restore the Sabbath Joy of His Father: the joyful rest that was stolen from Him and every
creature by Satan who alone introduced the concept of war to assault the holy tranquility GOD provided to every living thing
“In the beginning.” The universal tranquility that was lost through the intrusion of sin will one day be
restored through the holy life, sacrificial death, and victorious resurrection of Jesus Christ! This lay at
the heart of our being baptized “in Christ:” the believer’s public declaration of faith in Jesus to accomplish
what He has said He will do! His victory over sin and the grave promises the restoration of all that was
lost through sin. And the Sabbath rest is the seal of our rest “in Christ.”
So, as “the LORD” completed His creation of the Earth in six days and rested
on the seventh day, “Christ Jesus” completed His work of salvation on the sixth day and rested in the grave on
“the seventh day.” After His resurrection on the first day He began His work of proving to His followers
that death had no hold on Him just as He had given prophecy (Lu.18:31-34). Through Jesus Christ, holy angels
and men are now provided with a future and a hope to enter the Father’s joy, of which the Sabbath rest is “the
seal of God” (Rev.9:4). It is the seal of our faith in Him, His unending love, and His salvation.
To repose in gratitude
that all life has been redeemed from sin’s destruction, and that GOD’S assurances are worthy of our trust! Of
this wonder yet to come, GOD’S Word gives several prophecies of the coming Utopian paradise. Human
comprehension cannot grasp the scope of the joys that are to come to those who “the LORD” says, “love me
and keep my commandments.” Ex.20:6.
2. Will the ruling churches
ever acknowledge their
disloyalty
to GOD as Creator and Redeemer?
Jeremiah 44:16,17 As for the word that thou hast spoken unto us in the name of the
LORD, _____ _______ ______ ______________ ______ ______. (v.17) ______ _____ ______
________________ ____ ____________________ ________ ________ _______ ______ ____
_____ _____ ___________, to burn incense unto the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto her as
we have done, we and our fathers, our kings, and our princes, in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem: for
then had we
plenty of victuals [bread], and were well, and saw no evil.
“Mary, Queen of the Universe” is today’s counterpart.
Revelation 19:19,20 And I saw the beast [the kingdom of Rome (Rev.13:17)],
and the kings of the earth [the leaders of nations], and their armies, gathered together _____ ________ ______
___________ ______ that sat on the horse, and against His army. [v.20] And _____ ___________ [the king of
Christendom, the Pope] was taken, and with him ______ __________ ____________ [apostate Protestantism] that wrought miracles before
him, with which he deceived them that had the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. _________ _______
were cast alive into ___ _______ ____ _______ burning with brimstone.
3. What is the moment of history
when the entire
population of mankind has
decided to forever obey
or
disobey the Gospel of Jesus Christ?
Revelation 22:11 He that is unjust, let him be _________ ________: and he which is filthy,
let him be _________ ________: and he that is righteous, let him be ______________ still: and he that is holy, let him
be _______ still.
Hebrews 6:4-6 For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly
gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost, And have tasted the good word of GOD, and the powers of the world to come,
[v.6] _____ _______ _________ ______ _________, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify
to themselves the Son of GOD afresh, and put Him to an open shame.
To “fall away” in the Greek text does not refer to a “backslider” in the church (Jer.3:12) nor one who has fallen
into sin (Mal.3:6,7). It means to “forever renounce” or “apostatize” one's faith in GOD
and His Word. There are many examples in Scripture of men who fell prey to all manner of temptations leading to sin
and wickedness, but who returned to hear GOD'S voice once more and rejoiced in His renewed call to salvation. His
“still small voice” led them to repent of their great and many sins, and thus receive pardon and the restored
Presence of His Holy Spirit, as GOD so mercifully said, “I have blotted out, as a thick cloud, thy transgressions, and,
as a cloud, thy sins: return unto Me; for I have redeemed thee.” “And I will put my spirit within you.”
Isa.44:22; Eze.36:27. It is wise to note that His forgiveness comes first; then comes the call to believe,
as it is written, “while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” Rom.5:8. Scripture then admonishes us:
“Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof.” Rom.6:12.
4.
When they “that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus
Christ” have made up their minds, what is their fate?
Revelation
15:8 And the temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God, and from His power; and no man was able to enter into
the temple, till _____ __________ _____________ of the seven angels were fulfilled.
Revelation 16:1-4,8-12,17-21 And I heard a great voice out of the
temple saying to the seven angels, Go your ways, and pour out the vials of the wrath of GOD upon the earth. [v.2] And the
first angel went, and poured out his vial upon the earth; and there fell ___ ______________ _____ ______________
________ upon the men which had the mark of the beast, and upon them which worshipped his image. [v.3] And the second angel

power was given him to ____________ ______ _________ _________. [v.9] And men were scorched with great heat,
and blasphemed the name of GOD, which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give Him glory. [v.10] And the
fifth angel poured out his vial upon _____ _______ ____ ______ ____________; and his kingdom was _____
____ _______________; and they gnawed their tongues for pain, And blasphemed the GOD of heaven because of their pains
and their sores, and repented not of their deeds. [v.12] And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon _____ __________
_________ __________________; and the water thereof was _________ ____, that the way of the kings of the east
might be prepared.... [v.17] And the seventh angel poured out his vial into ______ ______; and there came a great voice
out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, It is done. And there were voices, and thunders, and lightnings;
and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great. And
the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell: and great Babylon came in remembrance before
GOD, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of His wrath. And every island fled away, and the mountains were
not found. [v.21] And there fell upon men ____ _________ ________ out of heaven, every stone about the weight
of a talent [approx. 50+ lbs. each plus the increased weight from the force from their speed]: and men blasphemed God because
of the plague of the hail; for the plague was exceeding great.
Joel

devoured the pastures of the wilderness.
Amos 8:3 And the songs of the temple shall
be howlings in that day, saith the LORD God: there shall be ________ ________ ___________ ____ ________
________; they shall cast them forth with silence.
Jeremiah
25:31-35 A noise shall come even to the ends of the earth; for the LORD hath a controversy with the nations, He will
plead with all flesh; he will give them that are wicked to _____ __________, saith the LORD. [v.32] Thus saith the LORD
of hosts, Behold, evil shall go forth _______ ___________ ____ ___________, and a great whirlwind shall
be raised up from the coasts of the earth. [v.33] And _____ __________ ____ _____ ________ shall be
at that day from ______ ______ ____ _____ __________ _______ ______ _____
________ _____ ____ _____ __________: they shall not be lamented, neither gathered, nor buried; they
shall be upon the ground. Howl, ye shepherds [unrepentant, shameless ministers of apostate religion], and cry; and wallow
yourselves in the ashes, ye principal of the flock: for the days of your slaughter and of your dispersions are accomplished;
and ye shall fall like a pleasant vessel. And the shepherds shall have no way to flee, nor the principal of the flock to escape.
How our religious leaders
can deny the prophecies of the Earth’s destruction ushering the 2nd Advent of Christ defies any sensible
logic or honest study of the Scriptures. In fact, the extent of their stubbornness is identical to when Jesus was raised
from the dead and the Roman guards who witnessed the event rushed to tell the Jewish priests how a glorious angel descended
from the sky and rolled the stone away from the tomb, and they all witnessed Jesus walk out of the tomb in Glory! And
the priests response, “Here’s fifty bucks: keep your mouth shut” (paraphrase of Matthew 28:11-15).
It is just as Jesus said, “If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose
from the dead.” Lu.16:31. As the animals are ignorant to the threat of vehicles on America’s roadways, so
churchmen are ignorant to Satan’s instruments of death
(I Pet.5:8).
5. When will the Bible disobedient church learn that their
chosen path has not led them to heaven but rather to
stand condemned before the GOD they claim to serve?
Revelation 16:10 And the fifth angel poured out his vial upon the
seat of the beast; and his kingdom was ______ ____ _______________; and they gnawed their tongues for pain.
Jeremiah 8:20 The harvest is past, the summer is ended, and _____
______ ______ __________.
Isaiah 59:9-13 Therefore is judgment far
from us, neither doth justice overtake us: we wait for light, but behold _______________; for brightness, but we walk in ______________.
We grope for the wall like the blind, and we grope as if we had no eyes: we stumble at noon day as in the night; we are in desolate places as dead men. We
roar all like bears, and mourn sore like doves: we look for judgment, but there is none; for salvation, but it is far off from us. [v.12] For our transgressions
are multiplied before Thee, and our sins testify against us: for our transgressions are with us; and as for our iniquities, _____ ________
________; In transgressing and lying against the LORD, and departing away from our God, speaking oppression and revolt, conceiving
and uttering from the heart words of falsehood.
Nahum 2:10 She is empty, and void, and waste: and the heart melteth, and the knees smite together,
and _______ _______ is in all loins, and the faces of them all __________ _______________.
Zechariah 14:13 And
it shall come to pass in that day, that a great tumult from the LORD shall be among them; and they shall lay hold every one
on the hand of his neighbor, and his hand shall rise up _________ _____ ________ ____ _____
_______________.
All of the above destruction takes place because a few “evildoers” are given the power to decide the ill fate
of the entire human race. The threat is obvious, but so is the solution. For every sin
that is committed, GOD has provided His forgiveness through the sacrifice of “his only begotten Son.”
But step-by-step the Vatican-ordained theocracy exalting the “venerable day of the sun” is taking control
over the civil authorities of Earth. To give you an idea of the extent of Rome’s power over the world’s
economy, in Islamic Pakistan they work on Friday (Islam's holy day) but they don't work on Sunday. This is one
reason Pakistan’s leaders are being threatened by militant Muslims. And when asked, “Why do the leaders
transgress Islam’s holy day of Friday?” The response is given: “Because world commerce demands that
every day but Sunday is for labor so that economic security can be maintained.” Step by step this religious theocracy
exalting Sunday sacredness is forming; but Jehovah is not on the throne of the temple—the pope is (II Th.2:2-4). One sinful man
desires the power of heaven’s theocracy but not the Law on which it was founded nor the character of its redeeming qualities.
Throughout church history the popes of Rome have had others do their dirty work: claiming innocent hands while others commit
heinous atrocities under his supervision (Dan.11:21; Rev.13:4). Nevertheless, it was the union of church
and state that crucified the world’s Redeemer (Jn.19:15). It was the union of church and state that worked to
destroy Christ’s faithful church throughout the centuries: generations of commandment-keeping Christians who honored
the Judean model of the churches established by the Apostles’ Peter and Paul (I Thess.2:14). Although
they had many names they were united in all essential doctrines. They read from the same Bible, the Itala,
the original Latin Vulgate (long before Jerome’s corrupt Vulgate); and they all rejoiced through tears and song their
mutual deliverance “in Christ.”
Here are a few names of these noble commandment keeping Christians: the Albigenses, the Arnoldists, the Berengarians,
the Celts, the Claudians, the Henricians, the Insabbatati, the Jacobites, the Leonists, the Lollards, the Messiahans, the
Nazarenes, the Passagians, the Paterines, the Paulicians, the Petrobusians, the Runerians, the Saint Thomas Christians, the
Subalpini, the Vaudois, and the Waldenses. These Bible-obedient brethren lived in the
mountain regions throughout Europe and the British Isles, extending even throughout Asia. It was their missionary work
and sacrifice that preserved the Apostolic Gospel until the Reformation movement when the great Waldensian missionary, Lollard,
a Sabbath keeping Christian, enlightened John Wycliffe, who, from that moment forward became “the Morning Star of the
Reformation.” Lollard showed John from Scripture Rome’s arrogance against the LORD Jesus Christ
and GOD’S Holy Law (Rev.12:14-17). Wycliffe’s followers were even known as Lollards. Then, in the following
century came John Huss, who was burned at the stake by command of the pope. But GOD would not allow John
to suffer in the flames! His voice sang the Gospel testimony as His breath went away. His
followers were the Hussites. Then in the following century came Luther and the Lutherites who became the
Lutherans. There is a host of other great names who were unified in the faith of Jesus: unified that the Word of GOD
must always reign supreme in the life of the believer. And step-by-step, progression was made restoring the doctrines
of the Gospel to the common man, who had been so long trapped in ignorance, and denied access to the Bible. This
was because in 1229 Pope Gregory IX at the Council of Toulouse placed the Holy Bible on Rome’s list of forbidden books
to the common man. But a century later came John Wycliffe who translated the first English Bible. And
over time, GOD worked through His faithful children to begin both the Reformation & Renaissance whose momentum was unstoppable
despite all of Rome’s spilling of blood to crush the knowledge of Christ in the hearts of men. Please
understand, Rome had become so sadistic that fathers were burned at the stake for teaching their children the Lord’s
Prayer.
But over time and several generations Satan restored Rome’s power and influence through espionage via the Jesuit
Order whose covert activities spearheaded Rome’s counter-reformation to remove anything injurious to “His Holiness”
the pope. Their utterly sadistic oath is recorded in Congress: “…I will hang, waste, boil,
flay, strangle and bury alive these infamous heretics…rip up the stomachs and wombs of their women and crush their
infants’ heads against the wall…” (Contested election case of Bonniwell against Butler, 2/5/1913, pgs.
3215-16). This corresponded with the exact time when the Rothschild bank of Rome, who owned an estimated
50% of the world’s wealth by 1900, created the “Federal Reserve Bank” in 1913 and began taxing the American
people for the first time in America’s history. As a result of their combined wealth, Rome could
then finance its own prophecies, of which the whole Christian world stands deceived today. They have covertly
planned the global union of church and state to rise to power, first in America, and thus ignite the final religious tyranny
masquerading in the guise of Protestant Christianity (Rev.13:4,15-18). The pawns for the Vatican today
are Rome’s “children,” in Protestant America (Rev.2:21-23). Rome always comes out smelling like a
rose while others take the fall for her; and the U.S. will swiftly fall to national ruin when this apostasy of the pagan Sunday
is legislated into federal law, as “the LORD” warned long ago of this all-too-common apostasy: “Therefore
this iniquity shall be to you as a breach ready to fall, swelling out of a high wall, whose breaking cometh suddenly at an
instant.” Isa.30:13.
But the day is coming when those who are deceived will realize that Rome is evangelizing the world into universal transgression
against the Holy Law of Jehovah (Rev.16:10-14), and the aroma of the rose coming from the Vatican will be discovered to be
nothing more than a Glade Air Freshener, masking the stench of the very principle used to crucify the world’s Redeemer:
“the tradition of men.” Said Jesus to the lawless priests of His day, “Why do ye also transgress the
commandment of God by your tradition?…Thus have ye made the commandment of God of none effect by your tradition.”
“For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men…Full well ye reject the commandment of
God, that ye may keep your own tradition.” Matt.15:3,6; Mk.7:8,9. In essence, the Bible warns of the coming test
of obedience to Jesus Christ that Catholics and Protestants alike will face because of their worship of and obedience to the
pagan religion of the pope masquerading under the Christian name (Rev.13:16-18).
As we discovered earlier, in reality the papal religion is merely the continuation of the age-old idolatry of Nimrod.
They worshipped a sinful man and his religion above the only GOD of man’s salvation (Rev.14:9,10).
At the tower of Babel GOD miraculously prevented the global unification of men choosing to live in sin. But He will not prevent it today.
Sin must be allowed to play out its hand that all may see its true objective: the destruction of all life on Earth!
Only by this will the faithful Christian see, first hand, the great threat of sin; and through this knowledge never again
choose to eat of it’s bitter fruit.
Those who deny the Ten Commandments as GOD’S moral standard are blind to their fatal outcome as it is written: “But
he that sinneth against me wrongeth his own soul: all they that hate me love death.” Prov.8:36. This is why the
prophecy of Christ’s 2nd Advent is so profound in both its promise and warning: “And the nations were
angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto
thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which
destroy the earth.” Rev.11:18. All should carefully and prayerfully consider the magnitude of the grand deception
of Satan’s last stand against Christ and His followers in using unrepentant men who claim the Christian faith to carry
out his sinful purposes; because for multitudes of professing Christians its discovery will be too late (Jer.8:20).

lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them. And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall

God, Having the glory of God: and her light was like unto a stone most precious, even like a jasper stone, clear as crystal;

Revelation
21:21-22:7 And the twelve gates were twelve pearls; every several gate was of one pearl: and the street of the city
was pure gold, as it were transparent glass. And I saw no temple therein: for the LORD God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple
of it. And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and
the Lamb is the light thereof. And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the
earth do bring their glory and honour into it. And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no
night there. And they shall bring the glory and honour of the nations into it. And there shall in no wise enter into it any
thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's
book of life. And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of GOD and of
the Lamb. [22:2] In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there _____ _______ ____
_______ which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for _____

the Lamb shall be in it; and His servants shall serve Him: And they shall see His face; and His name shall be in their foreheads.
And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the LORD God giveth them light:
and they shall reign for ever and ever. And he said unto me, These sayings are faithful and true: and the LORD God of the
holy prophets sent his angel to shew unto His servants the things which must shortly be done. Behold, I come quickly: blessed
is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book.
“Hear the word of the LORD, ye that tremble at His word; Your brethren
that hated you, that cast you out for My name's sake, said, Let the LORD be glorified: but He shall appear to your joy,
and they shall be ashamed.” “…therefore the LORD thy GOD commanded thee to keep the Sabbath day.”
