Claiming to be the expositors of heavens light our religious leaders lead the world to a millennium of night. And because
of their miscalculations based on long-held traditions promoting self-idolatry the flocks under their shepherding care are
led to face the great retribution of GOD against their corruption of His Law: “the second death:” a death from
which there is to be no resurrection.
How can this be? The Apostle Paul
summed up the reason why so many who profess the faith of Jesus will be lost: "they received not the love of the truth
that they might be saved." What is this truth? In David's grand prayer (Psalm 119), and his son, Solomon's
closing words (Ecclesiastes 12) the answer is readily found: "Thy law is the truth." "Let us hear the conclusion
of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man."
The great issue of the gospel directs us to the Holy Law of GOD, that when followed, all are safe in one another's care.
No injustice can rise in this atmosphere. This is the Law that will be honored throughout eternity: "all his commandments
are sure: they stand fast for ever." And yet, the churches openly disobey GOD'S Holy Law by publicly transgressing
the 2nd and 4th Commandments (found in Exodus 20). By so doing, they have publically shamed the Savior of mankind,
"seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame." Heb.6. Sin
murdered the Son of GOD. And all who continue in sin are associated as accomplices in His torture and death.
Said Christ to the religious leaders of His day, “Well hath Esaias prophesied of you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honoureth me with
their lips, but their heart is far from me. Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for
doctrines the commandments of men. For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men.” Mark 7:6-9. Today,
nothing has changed. The churches have likewise smothered the Holy Law of GOD with "the commandments
of men:" a thousand laws outside of Bible guidelines: the rituals, the ceremonies, the outward show of piety, in their
decorative robes of illusionary righteousness.
In summation, corporate
Christianity has overruled the very Law Christ obeyed unto His death to redeem the human race. In claiming
the divine authority to sin, today's Christianity is more responsible for this world's heartaches than
any other class of men. This is why Peter said, "judgment must begin at the house of God." Promoting
a religion endorsing sin, our leaders present a corrupt religion before the world, literally baptizing men
into a life of sin. As in the days of old, false prophets are pronouncing things that will never come to pass including
the salvation of their own souls. This is a hard saying, but the fact remains that less than five percent of all
who profess the Christian faith will escape the condemnation of sin (Matt.7:14; I Pet.4:18). We must understand
why this is so.
Hear the simple doctrine of Christ: "If thou will enter into
life, keep the commandments." Sadly, today's religions are a strange mixture of obedience and disobedience
to the GOD of heaven: not realizing that to be only partly saved is to be completely lost, for the Holy Spirit cannot legally
dwell in the soul of a man who has chosen sin instead of Him as the prophet Isaiah so clearly said: "But your iniquities
have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear." In essence,
faith and sin are not partners in salvation.
The Judgment of those deceived
After the Millennium Sabbath, (the thousand years in heaven when the saints review the history of this world),
Christ with His saints return to earth in "the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down from GOD out of heaven." The
city of GOD descends to a barren and desolate earth. This will be the time of the 3rd Advent of Christ and
the second resurrection. Christ will then raise from the grave all who chose to disobey their own conscience as convicted
by the “still, small voice” of the Spirit of GOD. “And his feet shall stand in that day
upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the
midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain
shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south. [The
New Jerusalem will rest in this great valley.] And ye [of
the second resurrection] shall flee to the valley of the mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach
unto Azal: yea, ye shall flee, like as ye fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah: and the LORD
my God shall come, and all the saints with thee.” "Behold, the LORD cometh with ten thousands of His
saints [the redeemed among men], To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their
ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against
Him."
Satan, who was "bound a thousand years" to a lifeless earth of his own creating conspires with the countless men,
women, and children (those of the age of accountability) to assault and conquer the city of the saints (Rev. 20:3). They proceed
to surround the "New Jerusalem" whose dimensions according to Scripture translate to be nearly
the size of Colorado: "And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and
the beloved city." The likes of this army the world has never known! The earth shakes with every step of the march of
sinners comprising a battle line over 1,500 miles long and many miles deep. Estimates of the total number of people
who have lived to date spans a range from 45-120 billion. The vast majority will find themselves without a Savior due
to their chosen companionship with sin.
As they approach the pearly gates of the great wall of the city (Rev. 21:21), Jesus then makes His presence known
to the surrounding host, high and lifted up. And the final campaign of Satan’s war against the Innocent comes to a dramatic
halt: "And I saw a great white throne, and Him that sat on it;" and the final judgment begins: "And I saw the
dead, small and great, stand before GOD; and the books were opened: and another book was opened; which is the book of life:
and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works."
In the Judgment,
GOD will reveal to all that His desire was only for their security and happiness, providing the perfect set of Laws whereby
this could be achieved: Laws that men know to be true, for GOD gave to man a measure of discernment knowing right from wrong.
Voluntarily, every knee will bow before GOD acknowledging His perfect way. Only then will they see the perfect
value of the words, “GOD is love.” I Jn.4:8. But for the tens of billions of unrepentant
men, women, and children (of the age of accountability) it will then be too late. If they will not honor
GOD’S Law here they would not honor it in heaven. They chose sin instead of Him, which the Bible
and even common sense teaches is the path of suicide. And because GOD will never take their power of choice away He
must allow them the choice they have made. He must allow them to die. A
million years of life would never have changed their minds, for there is a simple boundary that men cross where revision is
never achieved and repentance can never come. It’s called the unpardonable sin (Matt.23:31).
Following the Judgment of the unrepentant, the Bible says the whole surface of the earth will be broken up and transformed
into one seething ocean of lava called the "lake of fire." This is what the Bible teaches is the last great drama
of earth’s sinful history. Every mountain, valley and plain, every city, landscape and sea: all the things men have
known in this world will all be done away. And after reducing every trace of man’s sinful existence "to
ashes upon the earth" the Bible says that fire will be extinguished. Satan, his demons, and his pawns among men,
the Bible says, "they shall be as though they had never been." "Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities
about them in like manner…are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire." Please
note: Sodom and Gomorrha are not burning today. It is the destruction that is "eternal" not the fire.
Christ will then
say, “It is done.” “Behold, I make all things new.” “And I saw a new heaven and a new earth;
for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away.” Lasting peace begins. Every desire will be met, fulfilling
the closing words of childhood fables: And they lived happily ever after.
