With just a minimum
of common sense we can easily prove the Creator’s Love, even from the physical sciences. Merely examine the law that
rules the heavens, the same law that oversees the balance of nature with all its reciprocating relationships between plants
and animals, where none can exist without the plural contribution from the other families of mammals, plants, foul and fish.
Bees cannot live without the flowers, nor can the flowers live without the bees. This is one of hundreds of examples where
to remove one would lead to the death of the other. It is the same law ruling the living machinery of your body, providing
all of life’s experiences, where each component of your physiology lives to serve one another for the sole purpose of
preserving your life. Your beating heart has only one purpose: to serve you. The lungs, muscles and skeleton, all exist to
provide for your happiness. And should any of the organs become overtaxed and infected with disease the whole body unites
and comes to its rescue. This is the law that rules throughout the heavens: it is the law of subservient love.
The concept of a universe whose every component exists for the sole purpose of blessing the perpetuation of life is the most
important lesson for modern man to learn, for man's obedience to this concept determines the essential survival of mankind.
It is on this very principle promoting the eternal security of life that the Seventh-day Sabbath of GOD’S Fourth Commandment
exists. "The LORD blessed the Sabbath day and hallowed it" because it represents His rest in His completed work
of providing the stability of life through establishing natural law whose jurisdiction would protect and preserve the existence
of all life.
Behold the Earth! There are so many superbly beautiful things about our world: places that are breathtaking; loving relationships
between family, friends and animals; technology that saves life and gives tremendous comfort. Even the astronomical views
revealed by today's telescopes and interplanetary spacecraft: the scale and magnitude of these displays are spectacular
beyond belief. And when we compare today's knowledge and understanding to previous ages we can see that because of the
increase of knowledge our standard of living and freedom is unmatched by any generation throughout human history.
As astonishing as our way of life is, there is a corresponding side to life that is appalling to every hope of the human heart:
everything from justice and mercy to love. We need to look at the government that commands affliction, injustice—and
death on the life of earth, and compare this ruling authority with our conscientious desires and just expectations. Because
as wonderful as life is for many people there are equal numbers in terrible affliction and even peril: many of whom, right
now, view death to be a savior from their pain.
Have you ever examined the contrast
between the world you desire to live in and the one that exists? Give some thought to the perfect world of your design. List
each of your ideals and compare those ideals with the list of threats that dominates intelligent life. One swiftly discovers
that none of our fondest hopes are being met to an even basic approval. A governing power exists in this world that is at
war with the ideals of humanity; and this antagonistic authority is against not only men, but against all intelligent life.
Both man and beast are crying out for deliverance from the never-ending afflictions, and above all the inevitable death that
swallows-up every living thing. Truly, there is no all-inclusive peace on earth—yet.
Our society has capitulated to unite with those who blatantly and openly war against utopian law. Our very system of
government is fundamentally immoral and combative to life’s protection. The blindness of men forbids their discernment
to see that to remove the laws supporting the security of life is to initiate the extinction of all life. As a result of man’s
chosen path our values for government are trapped in a system of legalized theft, lies, adultery and murder. And every avenue
of revision has been cut off, making it impossible for righteousness to rule.
There is a false definition of freedom America is evangelizing the world with, which is really no freedom at all for those
victimized by its abuse. The exportation of junk food, cigarettes, booze and pornography, even the pharmaceuticals of painkillers,
antidepressants, etc. all of these cripple the intellect, stealing from people the willpower and fortitude to make and to
hold wise decisions. GOD can only build a clear mind, for through clarity of the mind we can here His voice saying, “This
is the way: walk ye in it.” But men becloud the mind, making it more and more difficult to hear that “still, small
voice” of reason and love.
