Welcome. This study will enlighten your mind to some
principles that are so precious to the human soul that to war against them is to extinguish the very essence of human desire.
Let us begin.
1. Why is there hardship?
Genesis 3:17 And unto Adam He said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of
thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground _____
______ _________; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life.
Psalm 107:18-20 Their soul abhorreth all manner of meat; and they draw near unto the gates of death. _______
_______ _____ ______ ______ _______ ____ ______ _________, and _____ _________ _______ out of the their distresses. He sent
His word, and healed them, and ___________ them from their destructions.
Psalms 119:71 It is good for me that I have been afflicted; ______ ___ _________ _________ ____ __________.
Unless GOD allowed
a degree of hardship to exist none would learn to hate sin or to even recognize its cancerous effect of sapping the life from
its victims. A simple path has been made plain for man to walk, in which our mutual safety is secure (our conscience bears
witness); but any deviation from that plain path and all manner of obstacles will be set before man imploring him to return
to the clear and unobstructed way.
2. Is there any way to lessen the hardships
of life?
Deuteronomy 7:12-15 Wherefore it shall
come to pass, ____ _____ _____________ to these judgments [GOD'S recommendations], and _____, and ___ them, that the LORD
thy GOD shall keep unto thee the covenant and the mercy which He sware unto thy fathers: And He will love thee, and bless
thee, and multiply thee: He will also bless the fruit of thy womb, and the fruit of thy land, thy corn,, and thy wine, and
thine oil, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep, in the land which He sware unto thy fathers to give thee.
Thou shalt be _________ ________ _____ ___________: there _____
____
___ male or female ______________ among you, or among your cattle. And the LORD will ______ ________ from thee ___ sickness,
and will put none of the evil diseases of Egypt, which thou knowest, upon thee; but will lay them upon all them that hate
thee [inspiring their actions, even through jealousy, to follow the counsel providing good health]."
Bible Guidelines have been set forth describing
every safe path: everything from diet to morality: even making apparent the result of those actions in how they affect our
relationship with life and our Earth.
3. What are these "judgments"
that we are admonished by GOD to keep for our mutual welfare?
Ecclesiastes
12:13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: _______ ______ _____ _______ _____ ________________: for this is the
whole duty of man.
Revelation 14:12 Here is the patience
of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of GOD, and _____ _________ _____ _____________.
The principle is very simple: if the world's
population cherished the Ten Commandments of GOD there would be no severe hardship for any man, woman or child on earth. There
is a legal framework where GOD has the legal right to protect, holding back the forces of destruction. But outside of those
boundaries He is legally helpless to intervene, for He cannot give His approval to anything that works harm to His children.
GOD’S Word teaches that if men honored these laws securing the perpetuation of life, established kingdoms and nations
would never have fallen; disasters of tornados, floods, and pestilence would never have entered the borders of such a nation
bearing the fruits of the godly decency as exemplified in the Ten Commandment Law.
It has always been man’s willful violation of the
Safe-Haven-of-Decency embodied in God's Ten Commandments that has brought incalculable suffering and carnage to the people
of earth. A doctoral dissertation could elaborate on the sublime value of the Ten Commandments individually. And we have been
given a conscience to acknowledge and an intellect to weigh these values insuring justice, mercy and love. Each of these virtues
in which humanity acknowledges an endearing value stem from the foundation of GOD'S Holy Law. The manner in which we educate
our sensibilities in this determines our level of achievement in both understanding and deeds.
4. Does Scripture teach that the measure of godliness in a nation determines its
growth or failing?
Proverbs 14:34 Righteousness exalteth
a nation: but _____ ____ ___ ___________ to any people.
Proverbs
20:28 ________ ____ ________ ____________ ___ _______: and his throne is upholden by mercy.
Jeremiah 12:17 But ___ _______ _____ _____ ________, I will ________ _________ up
and __________ that nation, saith the LORD.
5.
Does GOD grieve when the chosen path of His children works against their own safety?
Genesis 6:5, 6 And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every
imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. And it repented the LORD that He had made man on the earth,
and ___ _________ _____ ____ _____ ________.
Lamentations
3:33 For ____ ______ _____ __________ _____________ nor grieve the children of men.
Ezekiel 18:32 ____ ___ _______ ____ __________ ___ ____ ________ ___ _____ ______ _______, saith
the LORD God: wherefore turn yourselves, and live ye.
6.
What assurance is there that the present system of life will be done away and replaced with one that meets the call of the
human heart?
Revelation 21:4,5 And GOD shall wipe away
____ ________ from their eyes; and there shall be ___ ______ _______, neither _________, nor _____________; neither shall
there be any more _________: for the former things ____________________. And He that sat upon the throne said, Behold, ___
________ _____ _________ ______. And He said unto me, Write: for ____ __________ _________ ______ _______ _______.
Isaiah 35:10 And the ransomed of the LORD shall return, and come
to Zion _____ ______ _____ ______________ ____ upon their heads: _____ _____ _________ ____ ____ ___________, and sorrow and
sighing shall flee away.
7. What ways are there, that can reverse
some of the damage done to our minds and bodies due to the harmful actions through ignorance and even stubbornness?
Micah 6:8 He hath shewed thee, 0 man, what is good; and what doth
the LORD require of thee, but ____ ____ __________, and ____ ________ ___________, and ____ _______ ____________ with thy
GOD?
The above admonition
is met by cherishing of the Ten Commandments; for by honoring them are all other fruits of courtesy naturally born; and a
mutual benefit will be felt by all who live under their rule.
The supreme tools to build physical strength, which in turn can bless one’s wisdom and strength of will are diet, rest
and exercise. To bless only one to the neglect of the others will greatly limit one’s ability to make and to hold wise
decisions.
Genesis 1:29 And GOD said, Behold, I have
given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of the earth, and every tree, in which is the fruit of a tree yielding
seed; ____ _____ ____ ______ ___ ____ ______.
The original diet established in the beginning was a plant-based diet. Studies have shown that greater physical strength,
endurance, longer life, intellectual stamina, and overall far less susceptibility to disease are achieved by a balanced vegetarian
diet. Even the tooth decaying plaque on teeth is virtually nonexistent in those who abstain from dairy products. This is due
to the superior nutritional assimilation that is gained from combinations of fruits, nuts, vegetables, and grains whose combinations
through the body’s majestic machinery produces superior nutrition to that of animal flesh. Science agrees that the shapes
of human teeth are not suited for a carnivorous diet but a vegetarian diet.
Although many populated areas are unable to maintain a vegetarian
diet (those northern and arid regions where the supplement of meat is necessary to sustain life), the best available diet
should always be chosen. All would agree that if hamburgers are your only source of food, your strength of mind, body and
will-power would be greatly weakened. Scripture teaches, "the blood is the life" (Deut. 12:23). Therefore the quality
or purity of the blood determines the quality of life. Impure blood will corrupt the purity of the life. This is why physical
addictions are so harmful, from cigarettes to pharmaceutical drugs, because the snowballing of accumulations of any toxin
in our system creates adverse effects on our well-being, and ultimately will affect our reasoning powers and decision making
process (the only means by which GOD can reach the hearts of men). The decisions of the present greatly influence the rewards
of the future.
Daniel 1:8,12,15,17,20 But Daniel purposed
in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king's meat, nor with the wine which he drank: therefore
he requested of the prince of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself.…(v.12) Prove thy servants, I beseech thee,
ten days; and let them give us pulse [a vegetarian diet of nuts, fruits, vegetables and grains] to eat, and water to drink...(v.15)
And at the end of ten days ______ _____________ __________
_________
____ ________ than all the children which did eat the portion of the king's meat....(v.17) As for these four children,
GOD gave them ______________ ____ ______ ___ ____ ___________ ____ _________: and Daniel had understanding in all visions
and dreams....(v.20) And in all matters of wisdom and understanding, that the king enquired of them, he found them ____ _______
_________ than all the magicians and astrologers that were in all his realm.
Today's thinking is combative to the laws of health
when the food products of cows, birds, fish, even the scavengers of land and sea, are declared to be the standard by which
all plant-based foods have been declared as having lesser value. The literal rampage of disease that exists today did not
exist in the nineteenth Century. This change in the frequency of disease came when society abandoned the plant based diet
and turned to an animal based diet. Every nation of earth can trace its exponential rise in disease to the increase of meat
consumption. In addition, common sense dictates that whatever antibiotics, hormones, or diseases are found in the blood and
meat of these animals, they are ingested into the human organism, creating a strain on the immune system and vital organs.
It is estimated that 80% of our immune system is in the intestine. Therefore, the quality of food entering this vital organ
determines the overall health of the body. The end result of an animal diet taxing of the body's strength is a whole variety
of mental and physical illnesses of which dominate society today, affecting everything from one's physical productivity
to one's sense of morality. There are many ways to incite harmful results in both moral inclinations and physical reactions
through the avenue of diet alone.
8. Why have men resorted to chemical fertilizers
and pesticides, thus lessening the natural nutrition of food and creating imbalances in nature?
I Timothy 6: 10 ____ ____ ______ ___ _________ ___ ____ _____ ___ ____ _____: which
while some coveted after, they
have erred from the faith, and pierced
themselves through with many sorrows.
Leviticus 25:3-5 Six years thou shalt
sow thy field, and six years thou shalt prune thy vineyard, and gather in the fruit thereof, But ___ ____ __________ ______
_____ ___ ___ _________ ___ ______ _____ ____ ______, ___ _________ ____ ____ ______: thou shalt neither sow thy field, nor
prune thy vineyard. That which groweth of its own accord of thy harvest thou shalt not reap, neither gather the grapes of
thy vine undressed: for it is ___ ______ ____ ______ _____ ____ _____.
The decisions of farmers are not the sole contributor to this predicament.
Everything from people's cultivated tastes and government intervention to the recommendations of the scientific community
and the profiteering corporations, all of these factors influence where we find ourselves today with its blessings and curses.
The amounts of nutrients
found in today's farm crops can be regarded as negligible, when compared to organic farming, which does not use artificial
fertilizers. This is verified by the fact that the amount of nutrition found in a given crop is determined by the amount of
living organisms contained in the soil. And the fact remains that artificially fertilizing the soil kills the very organisms
that provide the superior nutrition, which in turn provides the healthiest life for man. Just one of a hundred examples: a
cup of spinach in the nineteenth Century contained 250 milligrams of iron. One cup of spinach today contains less than 5!
Today we live in a very malnourished society and this accounts for the insatiable appetites creating obesity, disease, and
emotional instability. Many are incapable of living a rational life based on their diet alone.
In every conceivable way man has refined his
diet to such an extreme that the majority of popular food combinations are combative to the overall health of the human body.
One mild example: "enriched" bread. The bread-maker refines (or strips away) the most nutritious components from
the grain, leaving its nearly nutrition-less base. The refined grain is then enriched with man's calculated amounts of
nutrients [isolated vitamins without the natural micronutrients; powdered metals such as iron, etc. taken from the quarry
(of all places)]; and this is presented to society as "enriched" bread. The human body is incapable of productively
assimilating non-plant-based nutrients. We were not designed to eat rock!
The human body was designed at creation to be most efficient in the assimilation
of natural food sources with little or no processing. Men of science are just now learning the vast complexity of nutrition
(where a simple apple holds an estimated 12,000 micronutrients). Without the micronutrients to accompany the primary vitamins
and minerals the human body’s assimilation of nutrition is disadvantaged. This is why we see companies putting 1000%
RDA of this vitamin, or 3000% of that vitamin in their pills, simply due to the fact that the body passes the great majority
of it through the vital organs, thereby needlessly overtaxing them. Even children’s vitamins are now discovered to be
dangerously harmful to the health of the child. Man's continual meddling with the intricate laws of nature has led to
all manner of harmful consequences. This in turn affects every part of nature that is affected from man’s meddling.
The ripple effect is seen on every front. The obvious effects from our tampering with the laws of nature are the raging levels
of physical and mental illness permeating throughout our society. Whatever body-system is overtaxed, whether it be the stomach,
intestine, lungs, liver, or kidneys; even the brain: any assault on the organs, inhibiting their intended function, will deplete
the inborn strength of that organ and will lead to it's premature failure.
In summation, the Bible teaches that the motor-efficiency
of the human organism and the strength of its immune system are determined by the quality of the blood. The quality of the
blood is determined by the quality of the environment, water, diet, sunlight, exercise and rest.
All that we see concerning the turmoil of life,
it is all due to man's irreversible decision to maintain the maximum distance to the ways of His Creator. This combative
stance includes religious as well as atheist advocates. GOD'S intentions of nurturing the physical, mental, and spiritual
nature of His children is available to anyone who will merely walk through the halls of learning, found in the Holy Bible,
and grasp the essence of our Creator's hope and intended purpose for us, for He has never, nor will ever force His children
to walk in His ordained path: it must be a freewill offering. His Word promises the gift of wisdom, of ingenuity, of courage,
and above all, a conquering love, to overcome every deficiency. To walk in a path that honors the Creator is the most noble
work that can be accomplished in this world.
1. Why is there hardship?
